All content on our platforms, including text, images, graphics and databases, is subject to copyright and may not be reproduced or distributed without prior permission.
1.2 Use by users
Users may only use the material and technical information in the context of their professional planning activities. Any commercial use or transmission to third parties is prohibited without our consent.
1.3 Third party rights
The materials and technical information originate from suppliers and may contain protected content. We are not liable for any infringement of third-party rights by users.
1.4 Downloaded content
By downloading images and project data, users guarantee that they have the necessary rights and that they are not infringing the rights of third parties. By uploading this content, they grant us a non-exclusive, unlimited, worldwide licence to use, display and distribute this content on our platform.
1.5 Violations and consequences
In the event of copyright infringement, we reserve the right to take legal action and block access to the platform.

Terms of use and warranty
2.1 Scope of application
These Terms of Use govern the use of our Digital Materials Collection. By visiting the platform, registering as a member or using the Collection of Materials, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and the SCDH Privacy Statement.
The Platform and the Collection of Materials are designed for use in Switzerland and the European Economic Area. If you wish to use the Material Collection from another economic area, please contact us before creating a user account.
2.2 Use of the platform
- You use the platform at your own risk.
- Users are required to provide correct information.
- Project collections may only be created for legal purposes.
Uploaded content must not infringe the rights of third parties.
If we find that you are in breach of any of the above provisions, your account may be deleted without prior warning.2.3 Exclusion of liability
We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the information provided. We shall only be liable for damage resulting from its use in the event of intent or gross negligence.
2.4 Warranties
As we only act as an intermediary between designers and suppliers, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the data or the availability of materials. This applies in particular to materials shown in the Collection of Materials but supplied or manufactured by the manufacturers.
2.4a. Availability
We endeavour to ensure continuous availability of the platform, but we cannot rule out technical incidents, maintenance work or breakdowns. We accept no liability in the event of unavailability.
2.4b. Account security
Users are required to keep their access data secret and to inform us immediately of any unauthorised access.
2.5 Third-party content
The materials, project data and images published on our platforms come from third parties, including architects, designers and material suppliers. By submitting content, the authors declare that they have all the necessary rights and that no third-party rights are being violated.
2.6 Grant of rights and processing
By submitting projects, images or other content, authors grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide and unlimited licence to publish, store, process and redistribute this content on our platform. We reserve the right to edit content, shorten or correct texts, add captions and decide to publish or delete content at any time.
2.7 Liability and compensation
The submitting parties guarantee that the content transmitted does not infringe any third-party rights and that they have all the necessary rights. In the event of third parties asserting claims due to infringement of copyright or other rights, the submitting parties undertake to inform us immediately and to provide us with all necessary information. You release us from all costs, damages or claims resulting from the breach of this warranty.
As a Member, you agree to use the Platform and the Materials Collection solely for professional purposes and for the intended purposes of materials discovery, education, research and sourcing in accordance with these Terms of Use.
2.7a. Limitation of liability
Our liability is limited to intent and gross negligence. We accept no liability for indirect damage, loss of profit or loss of data.
2.7b. Termination
Users may delete their account at any time via the account settings. After deletion, personal data will be deleted in accordance with our data protection declaration. Existing rights and obligations remain valid until termination.
2.8 Changes to the terms of use
We may amend these terms and conditions with 30 days' notice. In the event of significant changes, we will inform you by e-mail. Continued use after the expiry of this period constitutes acceptance.
2.9 Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms of use are governed by Swiss law. You agree to apply in the first instance to SCDH at the address set out below to resolve any dispute, claim or controversy in connection with your use of the Platform or the Collection of Materials or these Terms of Use.
The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Biel/Bienne. Claims are time-barred after one year.
2.9a Severability clause
If any provision of these Terms of Use is invalid or unenforceable, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision will be replaced by a valid provision that comes as close as possible to the original purpose.For any points not covered by these terms and conditions of use, our general terms and conditions of sale shall apply in addition.
