Bern Design Award 2025

Dr Minou Afzali, Head of Research at the SCDH, is awarded the Bernese Design Prize 2025.

The Bernese Design Prize 2025 will be awarded for the eleventh time by the Bernese Design Foundation. We are delighted that the Foundation has chosen Dr Minou Afzali as the most important representative of social design in the Canton of Berne with an international reach. With her ability to communicate, Dr Minou Afzali sensitises not only designers, but increasingly also the public, to the relevance of designing healthcare facilities in a completely new dimension. With this award, the Foundation is positioning itself and underlining the fact that design is much more than just creating functional and beautiful products and that it offers benefits to all sections of the population.
