We will test and assess your design on a 1:1 scale.
Simulation area

In our 560 m² simulation area, we project floor plans directly onto the floor and lend them substance with carboard walls, mock-ups and original furnishings. This enables you to physically experience planned spaces – whether these be rooms, entire floors or exterior spaces. Thus, you can test out and optimise dimensions, lines of sight and processes at first hand – before the building work starts.
Testing spaces

In a 330 m² area, we build realistic replicas of spaces, using original materials, colours, furnishing and equipment and simulating the light and noise that would be present in the real setting. This makes it possible for people experience a living, treatment, or work environment with all the senses. Technologies, products and processes can be tested and validated in a precisely simulated setting.
Test OR

Our 49 m² test OR meets the standards of a modern hospital. We create a realistic replica of your surgical setting, including the materials, furnishing and equipment, as well as the light and noise that would be present in the real space. This allows the testing and optimisation of layouts, processes and workflows, as well as medical equipment and systems – all under realistic conditions.
Workshops

Covering an area of around 1,000 m², the workshops bring together state-of-the-art production technologies and comprehensive expertise in the fields of metals, wood, textiles, digital media, printing, surfaces and synthetics. The focus is on the development of mock-ups, prototypes and models – from the initial idea to implementation. Parts of the workshops are available to rent for the realisation of projects.
Materials collection

The materials collection encompasses both a digital and a physical collection. It provides access to extensive information about the materials, linking them to reference objects and scientific publications. In this way, the materials collection supports the selection of materials for healthcare facilities and public buildings.
